"I have taken two photographic workshops through Nature Images and Sounds and have found them both to be extremely beneficial in helping me increase the quality of my images as well as my comprehension of photographic techniques.  The Hershbergers cover important topics – equipment, exposure, composition, workflow and more – fully, and at a level all participants can understand, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere that encourages participation.  Hands on instruction in the field is conducted with expertise, as photographers of all levels of learning are gently guided to capture and create unique and beautiful images while putting to use what was presented in the classroom.  Questions are answered knowledgably, image critiques are given in a positive way that promotes confidence, and post-workshop support is phenomenal.  I highly recommend the Hershberger’s nature photography workshops to anyone who wants to learn more about the techniques of successful photography (whether using digital or film), who wants to improve the quality of their work, or who just wants to have an opportunity to create stunning images in an encouraging environment."

"I took Wil and Donna's Nature Photography Workshop June 23-25th at Big Meadows and had a great time. Despite some wet weather, Wil and Donna managed to put us in place to photograph more fawns than I could keep track of. When the fawns were napping, we had plenty of opportunities for wildflowers, insects and butterflies. I definitely brought home more keepers from this weekend than I have in the past. If you've ever considered taking a workshop, but been intimidated to try, Wil and Donna's workshop would be great. They are great people to spend a weekend shooting with and were very helpful with all levels of questions, from the very basics to how to handle difficult exposure situations.
